Personal Credit Expert Advice
The expert is someone who is recognized as a reliable source of knowledge, skill or ability in a particular area. Note the term “recognized as” rather than simply someone who is those things. There are genuine people who are knowledgeable and skilled in their field, who are not recognized as experts because no one knows who they are or what they do. Similarly there are “experts” out there who are seen as skilled and knowledgeable, but who may be a long way from the best in their field. I’m sure you can think of someone you’ve met who you have heard is an expert but failed to impress.
How simple would building your business be if someone else was doing all the explaining for you? That’s exactly what your prospect is thinking. They are thinking I don’t have to know much because you or your sponsor is going to do all explaining for me. You can use an expert in several ways. You can have your expert do a presentation for your prospects in person. You can have your prospect talk to them via a 3 way call or at a weekly meeting if applicable.
Do you get the idea? How do you start? Take a blank sheet of paper or a start a new mind map file on your computer. Jot down every possible idea that comes to you for each of the three statements. Don’t eliminate any ideas because you think they are too dumb. This ‘dumb idea’ may trigger a great thought or two later on. Keep refining the ideas. Add more ideas, combine others. Eventually, the ideas will get distilled down to a few key thoughts, but it may take more than a single session to get there. The next step is to cloak the remaining ideas in sentences for each component of the statement. This is another repetitive exercise. Keep writing new sentences, rephrase them, combine them, rearrange them. Over time, your differentiation statements will evolve.
In fact, a whole new breed of “expert s” is emerging due in part to the internet and internet marketing programs. Just what are these people experts on, and how do YOU become an expert? Why would you even WANT to be an easy essay help?
Ignoring title kerning. Kerning is the space between the title letters. Just applying fonts, you might not think to apply kerning to the letters of the title. Yes, it’s a paradox, it will make a subtle but obvious difference in how your book title and overall cover design looks.
So you should find out what the writer ‘s area of expertise/specialization is – and then ask for something else. Yup, have the writer write on a topic she knows absolutely nothing about.
This is the very first step that involves thinking about the subject matter of your book. If it’s fiction work, e.g. a novel, you will be thinking about the theme, story line and characters. For non-fiction works you will be thinking about the topic that has you itching to write. Do a proper research on your topic to get as much information as possible. Write down all your thoughts on paper or a Word document and file in a place where you can retrieve easily for reference. You will keep referring to these initial ideas as you write in order not to veer off your intended topic/theme.
Do you and/or your company participate in industry events such as association meetings, trade shows, etc.? It takes more than attendance. It takes participation. Are you on panels? Do you write articles for the industry publications? Consider being involved in industry events – maybe even being on the board.
“I completely understand your “anxiety” and do try to remain true to what I sense is both your style and the characters involved. In writing this note to you I do so hoping that you will be able to relax a bit. As I have said before and I think this comes through in my completed editing tasks, I think your story is wonderful. I too have grown fond of the characters as well as the plot. With that said I want to assure you that it is never my intention to change your vision of what this story is all about.
Make sure the writer adds value to you and your company. Does the writer go above and beyond the call of duty? How can the freelance writer drive web traffic to your website? What can they do to help your business grow? You may want to hire someone who possesses a business background; they have business degrees and experience. Their professional experience will be invaluable to you. It’s a bonus if you find a freelance writer who has a combination of book and street smarts.
Have you ever met an author who behaves in these ways? I sure have-too many times. Perhaps you are even one of those authors. Hopefully, now you know better. Let’s face it-guerrilla book promotion doesn’t work when you act like you have a gorilla’s manners. Connect with your readers, but do it on their terms, without being pushy or rude. Be friendly, be straightforward, but also be willing to take “No” for an answer. When you are polite, you always make a better impression on your potential readers.
